Concertina Photobook
A concertina or accordion book is one of the simplest books you can make yourself, and its very flexible as you can use it as a conventional book or you can open it out and display it.
Steps to make one:
1 - Fold the paper to create thinner rectangular pieces.
2 - Unfold the paper and cut along the crease to separate the page into two long strips.
3 - Layout all the pieces and fold them in half vertically.
4 - Stand the paper up making sure all the folds face the same direction, then alternate them creating an elongated 'W' or 'M' pattern.
5 - Use glue to stick them together, making sure to maintain the 'W' or 'M' pattern.
My attempt:
I think my attempt at making a concertina photobook was successful and I really like how it turned out. It was pretty easy and the end result was a good way of displaying the photos. From doing this I'm more sure in my choice to use a landscape A4 photobook as it will best portray the images.
